- Timely Invoice Payment - Oversees the daily operation of a business team, leading the team toward performance and financial goals and objectives. Responsible for directing and scheduling the activities of the team, ensures that all functions are performed timely and productively. This includes the on-time and accurate payment to our vendor partners.
- Strategic Vendor Meetings - Facilitator and participant in strategic vendor meetings, Merchant meetings, and other vendor meetings conducted via conference call as well as face to face meetings.
- Match Rate Analysis - Manages and analyzes team match rates and system use by continuously reviewing performance and identifying problem vendors. Leverages system flexibility by analyzing opportunities and working with Business Unit Manager and Information Systems Specialists to reassign vendors to appropriate match rules. Uses statistical and analytical skill set to research and correct root cause of issues that drive poor vendor performance.
- Internal and External Partnerships - Develops and enhances partnerships with Partners, vendors, merchants, stores, distribution centers, and other inter-company departments. Initiates and facilitates meetings to open lines of communication and reviews procedures for these partners as needed, exhibiting superior customer service. This includes working as an intermediary between vendors and team members when issues arise.
- Domestic/Import Debit Balances - Works with team advisors, vendors and merchants to minimize both domestic and import debit balances and write-offs. Ensures debit balance write-offs are taken within policies.
- Expense Center Management - Develops and manages team expense budgets for personnel and non-personnel expenses. Operates within budget, and addresses any variances.
- Best-Practices Identifies and implements process improvements and ensures best practices are continually utilized by the team.
- Talent Management - Support hiring needs by conducting interviews, Set clear goals and objectives for the team members. Provide challenging assignments and coaching to facilitate individual development. Coaches team members to respond to vendor issues in a timely manner. Administers timely performance reviews, and ensures a high quality of team member performance and the other expectation as per the polices and procedure .Applies. Coaches, develop, and counsel the team, partnering with Manager and Human Resources. Taking action quickly if the performance is not meeting Target's policies and procedures in partnership with HR.
- Mentoring Team leads - Mentoring the new leads and helping them to get up to the speed in the process.
- Process excellence - Drive process improvement culture to improve process. Partner with OE team and find out ways and means to deliver value to the process.
- Special Projects - Represents A/P and/or Finance on task forces, special projects, and company initiatives

Requirements
- College degree. MBA is an added advantage
- Five - Six plus years accounting experience.
- Willing to work in Flexible shifts ( Including night shifts)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong systems aptitude.
- Superior customer service focus and Total Quality perspective.
- Ability to motivate and manage team size of > 15 Team members
- Ability to mentor team leads
- Ability to work independently and maintain high level of initiative.
- Ability to influence and drive change
- Excellent partnership and interpersonal skills.
- Hand on experience in Metrics management
- Experience in process improvements
